Job Summary

Atlanta Women's Healthcare Specialists LLC is seeking a part-time Mammography Technologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have at least one year of experience in mammography and excellent patient care skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate mammographic radiographic equipment and provide patient care essential to breast imaging
  • Assist in optimizing patient flow and maintain a high level of accuracy in mammography positioning and exposure technique
  • Practice safe procedures and adhere to radiation safety measures
  • Complete patient education and promote privacy and comfort for patients
Requirements
  • Completion of a two-year approved School of Radiologic Technology
  • One year of full-time experience as a Mammography Technologist
  • Registry by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (AART) with M Certification
  • MQSA/FDA- 15 CEU's every 3 years and 200-documented case numbers every 2 years
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to perform all duties using proper body mechanics
  • Frequent manual dexterity and fine motor coordination
  • Ability to work in a stressful environment
