We are seeking a skilled and experienced Interventional Cardiologist for a locum tenens position. This is an excellent opportunity to provide specialized cardiology care in a beautiful part of the state, working alongside a dedicated team to support both inpatient and outpatient cardiology needs.

Position Overview

This role offers a rewarding locum tenens assignment where your expertise in interventional cardiology can make a difference. You will be responsible for performing scheduled and emergent interventional cardiology procedures, including inpatient consults, inpatient study readings, and some clinic visits depending on assignment duration.

The expected daily admissions range from 4-6, primarily adult and geriatric populations. You will also be required to handle weekday night call and 24-hour weekend call coverage, with on-call time including handling call-backs as necessary.

A competitive salary is available for this position, with a estimated annual income ranging between $350,000 and $450,000 based on industry standards and location.

Required Qualifications
  • Board Certification: Interventional Cardiology (required)
  • Licensing: Active Colorado license or IMLC LOQ at time of submission
  • DEA Certification: Required and must be active for the entire duration of the assignment
  • Experience: At least 2 years of post-fellowship experience

A strong preference is given to candidates with a clean malpractice and background record, with a self-inquiry NPDB report required at the time of submission.
