Job Description

Sunland Group, Inc. is a multidisciplinary company of professionals seeking a Senior Cost Estimator for immediate placement in our Houston office. The Sr. Estimator will provide detailed cost estimates based on conceptual documents and all phases of design and construction. They must interface with other estimating disciplines and the Project Team and Owner Representatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Estimate construction project costs for various types of projects
  • Collaborate with the estimating team to review quantities and scope of projects
  • Provide cost estimates at a high conceptual or programming level
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients and management
  • Ensure accurate and timely delivery of estimates

Requirements:

  • 10 years of construction estimating experience
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills
  • Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil, Architectural, Construction Management, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or similar field of study
  • Field experience may be substituted for educational requirements
  • Aviation/Transportation experience
