Position Overview:
The Clinical Nurse Leader will oversee perioperative services, focusing on the integration and evaluation of care for diverse patient populations.
Key Responsibilities:
As a Clinical Nurse Leader, you will:
1. Act as a designer, coordinator, integrator, and evaluator of care for individuals, families, and communities, ensuring the delivery of competent care in various settings.
2. Conduct comprehensive assessments and manage a caseload of patients, emphasizing health promotion and risk reduction through evidence-based practices.
3. Analyze data to assess and enhance patient outcomes, maintaining metrics and dashboards to identify areas for improvement.
4. Collaborate with teams to facilitate quality improvement initiatives and educational programs for patients and families.
5. Mentor less experienced nursing staff in assessment and evaluation processes.
Qualifications:
Minimum Requirements:
1. Graduate from an accredited nursing program with a Master's degree in Nursing focused on the Clinical Nurse Leader role.
2. Current Registered Nurse license; CNL Certification must be obtained within six months of hire.
3. A minimum of three years of acute care nursing experience, with progressive involvement in patient care and staff education.
Preferred Qualifications:
1. Advanced clinical knowledge of the patient population, which can be developed through mentorship.
2. Additional certifications such as ACLS, TNCC, ENPC, PALS, or NALS within the first year of employment.
