Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced RN Staff Development Coordinator to join our team at Autumn Care of Mechanicsville. As a key member of our nursing staff, you will be responsible for developing and implementing training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of our nursing staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement training programs to meet the needs of our nursing staff, including orientation, in-service training, and continuing education.
- Conduct regular evaluations of our nursing staff to identify areas for improvement and develop strategies to address these areas.
- Collaborate with our nursing leadership team to develop and implement policies and procedures related to nursing practice.
- Provide coaching and mentoring to our nursing staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.
- Develop and maintain relationships with external partners and vendors to provide training and education to our nursing staff.
Requirements:
- Current RN license in good standing.
- Minimum of two years' experience in a nursing care facility.
- Experience in staff development and training, preferably in a long-term care setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
