Diesel Mechanic

We are seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our team at Rumpke Waste and Recycling. As a Diesel Mechanic, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs on our fleet of heavy-duty trucks and equipment.

• Perform preventative maintenance services on diesel engines, transmissions, and other critical components
• Inspect and repair brake systems, steering mechanisms, and other safety-critical systems
• Diagnose and repair complex mechanical issues with diesel engines and transmissions
• Complete accurate work orders and maintain detailed records of maintenance and repairs

• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical degree or certification preferred
• At least 2 years of experience in diesel engine repair and maintenance
• Ability to read and speak English fluently
• Valid driver's license and ability to operate heavy equipment
