The Bartender/Server plays a vital role in enhancing the visitor experience at our Tap Room. Upon successful training, individuals will earn the title of Beer Guide, responsible for leading brewery tours and conducting tastings of our exceptional craft beers. This position involves pouring beverages, managing the retail area, operating the growler filling station, and warmly welcoming guests. As a Beer Guide, you will embody the essence of our brand, upholding high standards of service and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver outstanding service to guests while ensuring responsible alcohol service.
  • Handle beer pouring, keg changes, glassware cleaning, and draft system maintenance.
  • Conduct informative tours and tastings at the brewery.
  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of our beer offerings and products.
  • Assist with ticket sales, respond to inquiries, and provide directions to guests.
  • Manage merchandise and beer stocking in the retail area.
  • Engage with visitors, verify IDs, and keep accurate guest counts.
  • Participate in promotional events and off-site activities as needed.
Work Environment:

The work environment is representative of the conditions an employee may encounter while performing essential job functions, with or without reasonable accommodations.
  • Ability to perform all tasks associated with the Tap Room.
  • Position requires prolonged standing, bending, lifting up to 65 pounds, and repetitive motions.
  • Utilization of office equipment such as computers and phones.
  • Proper personal protective equipment (PPE) will be provided and must be used.
Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Experience in the service industry is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Basic computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook) are necessary.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills for interacting with diverse guests.
  • A valid state or federal ID is required.
  • Eligibility to work in the United States is mandatory.
