Job Responsibilities- Triage and assess patients of all ages presenting for emergency care, providing timely and effective interventions to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Document nursing notes to reflect changes in condition, transfers, and discharges, maintaining accurate records for seamless communication with interdisciplinary teams.
- Administer medications in accordance with physician orders, prioritizing patient safety and well-being.
- Respond to incoming telephone calls, referring complex cases to relevant departments and coordinating ambulance traffic to optimize patient flow.
- Cordinate and triage incoming ambulance traffic, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and minimizing wait times.
- Manage patient care in collaboration with primary ED attending physicians, promoting comprehensive and coordinated care.
- Educate patients regarding their medications, procedures, and treatments, empowering them to make informed decisions about their health.
- Must be a graduate from an accredited school of Nursing, holding either an Associate's Degree in Nursing or higher.
- Must be licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state where you practice and/or hold an active Compact/Multi-State RN license.
- Current certification in American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross - PALS and ACLS is required.
