Center Service Manager I

The Center Service Manager I is a pivotal role within Chicanos Por La Causa, responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of a single Early or Migrant and Seasonal Head Start Program site. This position plays a crucial part in ensuring the smooth functioning of the center, focusing on the delivery of high-quality early childhood educational services.
Key Responsibilities- Center Operations: Manage center operations, including early childhood educational services, calendars, staff schedules, transportation, supplies, and food service, in accordance with Head Start Performance Standards, Head Start Act, and CPLC Policies and Procedures.
- Supervision: Supervise up to 20 staff members within CPLC's Early Childhood Development, promoting a positive and productive work environment.
- Health and Safety: Maintain all health and safety regulations to create an optimum learning environment, ensuring the well-being of children and staff.
- Education: Associate degree in education, child development, or early childhood education (ECE) or a related field is required. A BA, MA, or Higher Degree with coursework equivalent to a major in ECE is preferred.
- Experience: Progressive experience in an early childhood setting and/or administrative/supervisory experience is required, totaling 2 years.
- Skills: Leadership skills, ability to handle multiple priorities/tasks, knowledge of early childhood development and/or Head Start Performance Standards, and proficiency in managing program finance, budgets, data entry, and computer software programs.
