Position Overview:
The MRI Technologist is responsible for conducting magnetic resonance imaging procedures and generating diagnostic images for interpretation by a radiologist. This role requires adherence to departmental protocols, policies, and established standards of practice. The technologist will assess and monitor patients, ensuring they receive appropriate care throughout the imaging process. A strong emphasis on MRI safety practices is essential, particularly in screening patients for any contraindications prior to the scanning process.

Qualifications:
Education: An Associate's degree is required.
Certifications:
- ARRT Certification in Radiography is required.
- ARRT Certification in MRI must be obtained within six months of hire.
- American Heart Association BLS certification is required within 30 days of hire.
