We're seeking a skilled Direct Support Professional 2 to join our team at Bridgewell As a key member of our residential program, you'll provide critical support and assistance to individuals with disabilities, helping them to develop essential skills and live independently. Your duties will include skills training, decision-making support, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
Work Schedule: Sunday 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM, Friday 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM, and Saturday 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM (20 hours)
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each resident.
- Provide emotional support and guidance to residents, promoting independence and confidence.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation, adhering to regulatory standards and agency policies.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure seamless delivery of medical and clinical services.
- Assist residents with daily tasks, such as bathing, dressing, and medication management.
- Transport residents to appointments and activities, ensuring safe and timely arrival.
- Maintain up-to-date training and certifications, including first aid, CPR, and MAP.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with residents, families, and colleagues.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Compensation: $27.00-$32.50 per hour based on experience and qualifications
