Adelphi Medical Staffing is seeking a skilled Anesthesiology physician for a locum tenens assignment. The ideal candidate will have experience in providing clinical care and managing call schedules in a fast-paced inpatient and outpatient setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality patient care in a variety of settings, including inpatient and outpatient facilities
  • Manage call schedules and respond to emergency situations
  • Collaborate with CRNAs and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care
  • Supervise CRNAs and provide guidance on complex cases
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to a positive work environment

Facility Information:

  • 12 operating rooms available
  • Thoracic, complex vascular, and complex orthopedic cases
  • Regional and neuro cases
  • Minor nerve blocks, IV regional, and plexus procedures
  • Open heart anesthesia, spinal, and epidural procedures
  • Vent management, local infiltration, and acute pain management
  • C-line, A-line, and PA catheter insertion
  • Evaluation and management of acute volume/BP issues

Requirements:

  • Board certification in Anesthesiology
  • Current licensure in the state of practice
  • Experience in locum tenens assignments or similar settings
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
