Key Responsibilities
  • Transport finished products and raw materials between manufacturing facilities and distribution centers.
  • Conduct vehicle inspections to identify mechanical issues and ensure safety compliance, performing preventative maintenance as necessary.
  • Adhere to delivery timelines and schedules.
  • Maintain accurate logs of work/rest periods and mileage, including retention of fuel and toll receipts.
  • Follow all trucking regulations regarding size, weight, route designations, parking, and break periods, in addition to company policies.
  • Position trucks for loading and unloading operations.
  • Gather and confirm delivery instructions.
  • Report any defects, accidents, or regulatory violations promptly.
Qualifications
  • Experience in the Oil & Gas sector, particularly in Fuel Services, is preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience as a commercial truck driver.
  • Proficient with electronic equipment and software (e.g., GPS, AVL units, CB radios).
  • Ability to drive for extended hours and travel frequently.
  • Thorough understanding of relevant truck driving regulations.
  • No recent moving violations or driving infractions.
  • Capability to adapt to unexpected circumstances such as traffic and weather changes.
  • Possession of a valid CDL with Hazmat, Tanker, and Air brake endorsements.
  • High School Diploma or GED is required.
