Senior Estimator for HVAC Projects

Nesco Resource is seeking a highly skilled Senior Estimator to join our team in the Rochester, NY area. As a Senior Estimator, you will be responsible for analyzing project documents, accurately estimating costs, and working collaboratively with the estimating team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide detailed quantity labor and material take-offs for all systems
  • Review and assess estimating documents to ensure successful and complete low bids
  • Identify and report on risk and opportunity/scope
  • Obtain competitive quotations and compare on a like-for-like basis
  • Work collaboratively as a key member of the estimating team
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related discipline (highly desirable)
  • Minimum of 2+ years estimating HVAC projects
  • Proficient in computer software programs used in estimating (Quick Pen estimating software)
  • Strong knowledge of HVAC systems and sheet metal fabrication
  • Ability to professionally communicate the basis for individual work product in a highly stressed environment
  • Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
