Job Overview

As a Facilities Manager at DHD Consulting, you will be responsible for overseeing the operational efficiency of our facilities, ensuring a safe and compliant environment for all employees.

Key Responsibilities

Facilities Operations

  • Oversee daily operations of all company facilities, ensuring proper maintenance, security, and repairs.
  • Maintain compliance with health and safety regulations and industry standards.
  • Establish and uphold facility management policies and procedures.

Project Management

  • Lead facility-related projects from start to finish, including renovations and relocations.
  • Create detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets.
  • Collaborate with contractors, architects, and engineers to ensure timely and budget-friendly project completion.
  • Conduct regular project meetings to provide updates and resolve issues.
  • Monitor project status and make necessary adjustments to plans.

Budgeting and Financial Oversight

  • Develop and manage the facilities budget, ensuring efficient resource allocation.
  • Track and report expenditures related to facility operations and projects.
  • Negotiate contracts with vendors and service providers.

Vendor Management

  • Manage relationships with external vendors, including janitorial and security services.
  • Ensure vendors meet performance standards and contractual obligations.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations and audits of service providers.

Space Planning and Utilization

  • Implement strategies for effective space planning to maximize facility usage.
  • Oversee office relocations and reconfigurations to support business growth.
  • Ensure optimal allocation of space and resources.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma required.
  • A minimum of 4 years of experience in facility management, preferably in a warehouse environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Ability to respond promptly to after-hours emergencies related to facility operations.
  • Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
