Inova Health System is seeking a highly skilled Breast Sonographer to join our team in Arlington, Virginia.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer sound patient care practices according to hospital and department policies/procedures to ensure patient safety.
- Complete ancillary tasks to ensure efficient and consistent departmental operations.
- Maintain equipment, exam rooms, and work areas in a neat and safe condition.
- Provide clinical services according to specialized ultrasound practice standards.
- Act as a resource to students, nurses, fellows, and other technologists to ensure optimal department functions.
Requirements:
- ARRT, ARDMS, RDMS or RVT certification as a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer or registry eligibility with certification within 18 months from date of hire.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) upon start.
- One year of experience in a hospital/healthcare environment in the performance of Specialized Diagnostic Medical Sonography.
- Graduate of an accredited school of Diagnostic Medical Sonography.
