Youth Opportunity Investments, LLC is seeking a Child Welfare Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for providing case management services to youth and their families.

About the Role

In this role, you will work closely with youth, families, and Juvenile Probation Officers to provide ongoing communication, evaluations, and assessments. You will also be responsible for completing or arranging for all required mental health and substance abuse screenings and assessments.

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement comprehensive case plans to address the needs of youth and their families.
  2. Conduct regular assessments and evaluations to ensure youth are meeting treatment goals.
  3. Collaborate with leadership and performance improvement activities to ensure compliance with policy and agency requirements.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college in counseling, social work, psychology, rehabilitation, special education, or a related human services field.
  • Two years' experience working with children with serious emotional disturbances or substance abuse problems.

Compensation:

The estimated salary for this position is $18.50 - $19.50 per hour, based on industry standards and location.
