Job Title: Early Childhood Therapist

**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Early Childhood Therapist to join our clinical team in the Bay Area. As a key member of our team, you will provide play-based therapy to children ranging from birth to 3 years old, collaborating closely with parents/guardians to enhance skill acquisition in key areas of childhood development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide services in the child's natural environment (in families' homes or other community settings).
  • Work with children from birth to 3 years old, collaborating closely with parents/guardians to enhance skill acquisition in key areas of childhood development using play therapy techniques.
  • Collaborate with a clinical team of supervisors and leads as well as a scheduling department for support.
  • Develops and implements weekly lesson plans that enhance children's growth and resiliency.
  • Work with the family to develop strategies to help each child reach their specific developmental goals.
  • Utilize the family-centered parent coaching approach to build confidence and skills and to ensure that progress is generalized.
  • Update reports in the database.
  • Maintain confidentiality of information regarding children and families (in accordance with HIPAA and/or State/Federal regulations).

Requirements:

  • Experience working with children with developmental delays, learning disabilities, or behavior disorders.
  • Experience in child development, behavioral therapy, early childhood education, infant teaching, or a related field is preferred.
  • Comfortable thinking outside the box, adapting to a changing environment, and maintaining professionalism with the families.
  • Must speak Spanish.
  • Must have reliable transportation and be willing and able to travel between different job sites.
  • Valid driver's license, proof of current auto insurance, and a clean driving record.
  • Ability to obtain DOJ background clearance.
  • Willing to obtain CPR certification (Company provides upon training).
  • Ability to walk, run, and tolerate prolonged periods of standing, kneeling, crawling, bending, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to read, comprehend, and write communication through computer, electronic devices, and paper means.
  • High school diploma.
