Surgical Technician Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Surgical Technician to join our team at Harris Regional Hospital. As a Surgical Technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of surgical procedures.

Responsibilities:

- Set up surgical procedures and scrub on cases as needed
- Perform appropriate functions to facilitate the flow of surgical patients
- Work under the guidance of the Registered Nurse
- Share responsibility for the care and safety of patients
- Ensure effective communication between team members

Requirements:

- High School diploma or equivalent
- Current BLS certification
- Certification as a Surgical Technician and/or graduation from an approved OR Technician program preferred

Physical Requirements:

- Ability to lift and move at least 50 pounds
- Ability to see colors, see at least 1 mm squares
- Ability to remain calm and function effectively in stressful situations
- Ability to communicate clearly with the healthcare team
