About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Dairy Clerk to join our team at Sprouts Farmers Market. As a Dairy Clerk, you will play a critical role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our dairy and frozen food cases, ensuring that our customers have an exceptional shopping experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Case Maintenance: Ensure that all dairy and frozen food cases are stocked, faced, and organized according to company standards.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service by responding to customer inquiries, assisting with purchases, and offering product recommendations.
  • Inventory Management: Receive, inspect, and log products for accuracy of shipment, temperature, and quality.
  • Equipment Operation: Operate equipment such as knives, scales, wrappers, compactors, garbage disposals, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
  • Sanitation and Safety: Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to all safety, health, and OSHA regulations.
Requirements
  • Age: Be at least 16 years of age.
  • Availability: Be available to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Communication Skills: Possess good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Physical Demands: Be able to perform repetitious activities, lift up to 60 pounds, and walk up to 5 miles in an 8-hour shift.
