St. Luke's University Health Network, a leading health system in the region, is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Pediatric Nephrologist to join its team of pediatric specialists at St. Luke's Children's Hospital, Bethlehem Campus. This opportunity is part of the network's growth and investment in pediatric services, which has led to the establishment of St. Luke's Children's Hospital at the Bethlehem Campus.
Key Highlights:
- St. Luke's Division of Pediatric Nephrology is the only pediatric nephrology program in the Lehigh Valley area.
- The division offers pediatric dialysis services through a partnership with DaVita Dialysis, providing care for patients in the outpatient setting, PICU, and inpatient pediatric unit.
- St. Luke's Children's Hospital is a proud member of the Children's Hospital Association, representing decades of growth and investment in pediatrics.
- The hospital features a newly renovated 17-bed Inpatient Pediatric Unit and an 8-bed Pediatric Intensive Care Unit.
- The Pediatric Emergency Department is a 6-bed unit located within St. Luke's Children's Hospital and will expand to 11 beds upon completion of an ongoing construction project.
- The department is supported by a team of pediatric specialists spanning 40 specialty areas, including pediatric surgery, GI, endocrinology, nephrology, and more.
- The pediatric nephrology practice continues to grow due to a strong referral network of pediatric primary care practices and family practice offices.
- The network's OB department delivers nearly 5,000 babies per year.
- The network features a robust 12-hospital system spread over a diverse geographic area, providing emergency care for over 320,000 patients annually.
