About This Role
As a Step Down Unit Registered Nurse with TotalMed, you'll be responsible for providing specialized care for patients transitioning from critical care. This is an excellent opportunity to make a positive impact on patients' lives and work in a dynamic setting.
Job Details
The ideal candidate will have two years of recent experience in a Step Down unit and strong communication skills. You'll be working in Richmond, Virginia, with a salary of $82,311 per year (based on the given weekly salary of $1,982.92).
Your Responsibilities
- Monitor and assess patients' vital signs, cardiac rhythms, and respiratory status in the step-down unit.
- Administer medications, perform procedures, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Educate patients and families on post-intensive care recovery, medication management, and self-care techniques.
