IT Generalist

First Peoples Credit Union is seeking a highly skilled IT Generalist to join our team. As an IT Generalist, you will be responsible for implementing and administering IT policies and procedures, assisting with business continuity strategies, and providing technical support to end-users.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement and administer IT policies and procedures
• Assist with business continuity strategies for the IT area
• Perform help desk duties, including setting up new users, assisting with network and telephone access, and resolving connection problems
• Install, upgrade, and back up software
• Monitor network utilization and security systems
• Provide technical support to end-users and answer questions
• Maintain activity logs and make recommendations for improving the help desk function

Requirements:

• Associate or Bachelor degree in information science or related field, or relevant certification from recognized industry, trade, or technical school
• Knowledge of network systems and software
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
