We are seeking a skilled and experienced Cardiothoracic Surgeon to join our team at Ascension St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis, Indiana.

About the Role

This is an exceptional opportunity for a talented physician to join our cardiothoracic surgery program, which is recognized nationally for its excellence in heart transplant surgery and mechanical circulatory support.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with a highly experienced team of surgeons, including three who participate in heart transplant surgery.

  • Responsibilities include performing all aspects of adult cardiac surgery, with an emphasis on cardiac transplantation and mechanical circulatory support.
  • Join our team of 5 established surgeons, 3 of whom participate in heart transplant surgery.
  • On-call schedules are rotated evenly amongst the group.
  • 1:4 for transplant call
  • 1:6 for primary surgical call
