At Camaco, LLC, we are seeking an experienced Precision Mechanic Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our production department, you will be responsible for performing high-level fabrication and repair tasks on complex tooling systems.

About the Role

This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity for a skilled Tool and Die Craftsman to take their expertise to the next level. You will work closely with our production team to ensure that all tooling is maintained and repaired to the highest standards, ensuring optimal productivity and efficiency in our manufacturing process.

Key Responsibilities
  • Fabricate and repair dies, using advanced tooling equipment and techniques
  • Lay out and perform precision machining operations, including center drilling, reaming, lapping, tapping, countersinking, and counter boring
  • Machine parts to blueprint specifications, utilizing manual and automated machine tools
  • Document and record various data for the department, ensuring accurate tracking and reporting of tooling maintenance and repairs
Qualifications and Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in tool and die making, with a strong background in precision machining and fabrication
  • High School Diploma or equivalent, plus formal training leading to Journeyman status as a Tool and Die Maker
  • Strong mechanical ability and problem-solving skills, with excellent communication and teamwork skills
Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $85,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on experience. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, paid time off, and retirement savings plan.
