Epic Travel Staffing is actively seeking a dedicated travel nurse RN specializing in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) for an exciting travel nursing opportunity.

Position Overview & Requirements
  • Specialty: Progressive Care Unit (PCU)
  • Discipline: Registered Nurse (RN)

  • Weekly Hours: 36 hours
  • Shift: 12-hour days
  • Duration: 13 weeks

Job Responsibilities:
As a Travel RN in the Heart & Vascular Recovery unit, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to patients during their recovery process.
Shift Details: Days / 7 AM - 7 PM (12x3)
Weekend Coverage: As required by the facility, typically every other weekend.

Qualifications:

  • Valid Missouri RN License
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in Cardiac telemetry, Pre/Post Cardiac Care, or Cardiac Step-down
  • AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • AHA Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification

Additional Information:

  • EMR System: EPIC
  • Floating Requirements: As needed to similar or lower acuity units
  • Patient Ratios: Varies, estimated 1:4-1:5 during the day shift
  • Equipment: General monitoring and EKG
  • Scrub Color: Black
