Job Summary:
A Mobile Equipment Maintenance Technician performs preventive maintenance and minor repairs on all types of trucks and/or equipment to maximize safe and productive operations on site at customer locations. This role requires professionalism, service/product training, and gathering new business relationships with prospective customers.

Responsibilities:
  1. Inspect trucks and/or equipment, for condition, operation, parts, and fluid levels.
  2. Check, fill, and change out appropriate fluids for all vehicle parts including engine, transmission, differentials, final drives, pump drives, and hubs.
  3. Grease, oil, and lubricate components during preventive maintenance service.
  4. Perform adjustments to various systems during preventive maintenance service.
  5. Maintain and/or change air, oil, coolant, and fuel filters.
  6. Perform cooling systems maintenance.
  7. Identify and designate problems.
  8. Complete necessary repair and preventive maintenance work.
  9. Check safety equipment on truck and/or equipment.
  10. Drive truck in and out of repair area.
  11. Follow all safety policies and procedures.
  12. Complete required paperwork, documents parts and material usage, and accounts for applied times.
  13. Represent the Company Core Values and adheres to the guidelines of the Employee handbook on a daily basis to all internal and external customers.
  14. Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Requirements:
  • Valid driver license
  • Valid Class A CDL or the ability to obtain within 60 days of employment
  • Equivalent of a high school diploma or G.E.D. certification
  • Prior mechanic experience
  • Automotive certification
  • Service Excellence classification: medium/heavy truck
