POSITION SUMMARY

The Cannabis Retail Operations Supervisor will collaborate closely with the management team to guide and motivate the staff. This role is pivotal in exemplifying outstanding service, commitment, and enthusiasm. The Supervisor will oversee the receipt of product deliveries, manage inventory records, replenish stock on the sales floor, and ensure adherence to FIFO (First In, First Out) and FEFO (First Expired, First Out) protocols. This position is essential in fostering a positive work environment by mentoring and inspiring team members.

Established in 2018 and based in Boca Raton, Florida, Jushi is a leading multi-state cannabis enterprise dedicated to developing and managing upscale retail outlets, premium brands, and state-of-the-art cultivation and processing facilities. Our innovative online platform is redefining the modern cannabis shopping experience.

We manage numerous retail locations under the BEYOND / HELLO™ brand and the recently acquired Nature's Remedy brand, providing an exceptional in-store experience complemented by online reservations and express pickup services.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Adhere to established sales and customer service protocols to guarantee customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of product offerings and industry trends, and actively share this knowledge with team members.
  • Monitor and manage inventory levels, ensuring a diverse product assortment and communicating necessary inventory actions to the Store Manager.
  • Assist Customer Consultants during customer interactions to ensure informed product choices.
  • Effectively delegate and complete assigned tasks during shifts, including:
    • Accurate cash handling and discount processing.
    • Verification of customer documentation and identification.
    • Implementation of security measures and compliance with safety regulations.
    • Maintenance of a clean and organized retail environment.
    • Facilitation of open communication with management and team members.
    • Reporting of team and customer-related issues.
    • Preparation of end-of-day updates.
    • Execution of opening and closing procedures.
  • Collaborate with management to ensure smooth and compliant retail operations.
  • Assist in the onboarding and training of new Customer Consultants alongside the Store Manager.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High School diploma or GED required; Associate or Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Experience or educational background in biology, medicine, horticulture, agriculture, business, management, service, or hospitality is advantageous.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in dispensary, retail, sales, hospitality, or customer service roles.
  • Proficient in computer skills, including retail POS systems and credit card processing.
  • Strong critical thinking, attention to detail, and mathematical skills.
  • Ability to handle cash transactions accurately.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

  • Occasional desk-based computer tasks.
  • Frequent standing, walking, and reaching.
  • Ability to lift and carry objects weighing up to 25 pounds.
  • Must be flexible to work weekends and holidays as needed.
  • Ability to work in a moderately loud environment.
