Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced primary care medical office setting. This includes:

  • Rooming patients, taking vital signs, administering medications, and performing rapid testing.
  • Ordering and documenting patient information, as well as scheduling appointments.
  • Providing general care and education to patients, including medication reconciliation and procedure assistance.
Key Responsibilities

The Licensed Practical Nurse will be responsible for:

  • Recording and reporting patient symptoms and medical history.
  • Assisting with medical procedures and coordinating patient visits.
  • Preparing exam and treatment rooms for patient examinations.
  • Cleaning and sterilizing medical equipment and instruments.
  • Reviewing patient charts and records, including medical history and treatment plans.
  • Maintaining inventory and stock of clinical and medicinal supplies.
  • Educating patients on current health issues and promoting health and wellness.
  • Practicing safety and health code standards, and adhering to company policies and procedures.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, the candidate must have:

  • A minimum of vocational or technical nursing training.
  • 0-6 months of experience in a medical office setting.
  • LPN licensure and phlebotomy experience (a plus, but not required).
  • Ability to use electronic medical records, web browsers, and Microsoft Office.
  • Experience with eClinicalworks (valuable, but not required).
