Security Access Coordinator II

Overview

The Security Access Coordinator is responsible for supervising and guiding non-cleared individuals, as well as facilitating access management for restricted zones within a federal government initiative across various sites.

Key Responsibilities

+ Supervise and oversee un-cleared personnel within accredited environments.

+ Prevent the entry of unauthorized materials and items as outlined by the designated Accrediting Official (AO).

+ Perform random checks of secured locations to identify unapproved individuals and materials.

+ Execute additional tasks as required.

Required Qualifications

+ Minimum of 6 months of experience in security roles.

+ Capability to maintain a consistent full-time or part-time security schedule.

+ Reliable transportation to and from the designated work location is essential.

+ Possession of an Active Top Secret Clearance is mandatory.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

+ Proficiency in operating a personal computer is necessary.

+ Ability to obtain and sustain a DOS security clearance is required.

+ Basic knowledge to effectively use a hand-held radio is essential.

+ Availability for weekend and on-call duties is expected.
