About the Salary
The estimated annual salary for this position is $62,157 - $95,333 based on location and experience.

About the Role
In this role, you will work closely with dentists and other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care. Your duties will include assisting with dental procedures, maintaining a safe and clean environment, and providing patient-preventative education and oral hygiene instruction. You will also have the opportunity to participate in training and education programs to enhance your skills and knowledge.

About the Requirements
To be considered for this position, you must have six months of experience demonstrating your ability to perform the work or provide familiarity with the work. Alternatively, you can possess successful completion of a 1-year dental assistant program accredited by the American Dental Association's Commission on Dental Accreditation (CODA). Additionally, you must demonstrate proper infection control procedures, basic knowledge of instruments, materials, and standardized dental procedures, and ability to learn and utilize software programs used within VHA.
