Job Summary

SITEC Consulting is seeking a highly skilled Test Engineer to operate sensors and systems, and participate in on-test involving navy platforms. The ideal candidate will have experience in testing DoD aircraft systems, DoD weapons systems, DoD mission systems, or DoD support systems.

The selected applicant will create Test Development Plans and Procedures for Mission Computer Software. They will also oversee the efforts of less senior staff and/or be responsible for the efforts of all staff assigned to a specific job.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate new or revised software that controls/responds to current hardware
  • Evaluate proposed software that will control new hardware
  • Analyze solutions, estimate problem impact on mission functions, and provide an evaluation on the resulting solution

Requirements:

  • BS or BA degree in a Technical Discipline
  • ACTIVE Secret or Top-Secret Clearance
  • At least five (5) years of experience in the engineering field-testing DoD aircraft systems, DoD weapons systems, DoD mission systems, or DoD support systems

Senior Level Requirements:

  • At least Ten (10) years of experience in the engineering field-testing DoD aircraft systems, DoD weapons systems, DoD mission systems, or DoD support systems
