Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine appropriate treatment plans
  • Provide individual and group counseling sessions to clients, utilizing evidence-based therapies such as cognitive behavioral therapy and motivational interviewing
  • Assist clients in developing coping skills and strategies for managing their behaviors
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate patient care and ensure seamless delivery of services
  • Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of client progress, including intake assessments, progress notes, treatment plans, and discharge summaries
  • Participate in ongoing professional development and training to stay current with best practices and program standards
  • Provide crisis intervention and support as needed
  • Implement behavior modification techniques to promote positive change and support client growth
  • Attend regular staff meetings, group supervisions, and individual supervisions as directed by supervisor
Requirements
  • Masters degree from an accredited college or university in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or a similar clinical discipline
  • Verified clinical practicum experience
  • Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) certification
  • FBI Clearance, PA State Criminal Clearance, and Child Abuse Certificate
  • Child Abuse Mandated Reporter training certificate
