Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced EEG Technologist to join our team at Maine Medical Center - Portland. As a key member of our radiology department, you will be responsible for performing EEG procedures and providing exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities
  • Perform EEG procedures on patients of all ages, including neonatal and pediatric patients.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure accurate and efficient procedures.
  • Operate and maintain EEG equipment, including Natus NeuroWorks.
  • Develop and maintain a strong understanding of EEG procedures and protocols.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices and advancements in EEG technology.
Requirements
  • ABRET registration in EEG is required.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience as an EEG Technologist is required.
  • Advanced pediatric experience and ambulatory EEG experience with paste, tape, wrap method are highly desirable.
  • Ability to work independently and troubleshoot equipment issues with IT and vendor is essential.
Work Environment

This is a 40-hour Monday - Friday position with occasional call requirements. The successful candidate will be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and will be able to adapt to changing situations.
