Spectrum Health Systems is seeking a highly skilled Recovery Specialist to join our team. As a Recovery Specialist, you will play a critical role in maintaining a safe and supportive environment for our clients.
Key Responsibilities- Client Safety and Support: Maintain a safe environment at all times, ensuring high-quality services and customer satisfaction.
- Facilitation and Transportation: Facilitate the movement of clients around the building and grounds in a safe and orderly fashion, and provide transportation for clients as needed.
- Screening and Admission: Conduct alcohol and drug screens on clients with respect and dignity, and assist with admission and discharge procedures as required.
- Housekeeping and Maintenance: Oversee clients' general housekeeping chores and participate in light housekeeping as needed, ensuring units remain clean and orderly.
- Education: Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent required.
- Experience: Experience in substance abuse or mental health field preferred, but not required.
- Skills: Excellent verbal, social, and writing skills, with the ability to use independent judgment to resolve problems and emergencies.
- Technology: Basic ability to use computers to make entries and utilize electronic health records.
