About the Role

The CNC Machinist (Lathe) is a critical member of our manufacturing team at SyBridge Technologies, responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of our lathes and meeting quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Effective setup and programming of lathes using MasterCAM software to maximize machine utilization and unattended time.
  • Inspection and documentation of machined parts to ensure first-time quality, with attention to detail and precision measuring instruments.
  • Identification and reporting of errors or out-of-tolerance deviations to the Manufacturing Job Leader, with prompt resolution and follow-up.
  • Maintenance of schedules, tool inventory, and cleanliness of the work area.
  • Collaboration with the Manufacturing Engineer/Job Leader to plan and execute routers, with flexibility and adaptability.
  • Travel and overtime as required by SyBridge.
  • Strong leadership, interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skills.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 8 years of related experience with CNC lathes.
  • Certification or college degree, or high school diploma and equivalent experience in mold manufacturing.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
  • Strong attention to detail, quality standards, and time management.
  • Proficiency in MasterCAM software and ability to program live tooling and subspindles.

Salary Range: $80,000 - $120,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
