Responsibilities
  • Assist physical therapists in the delivery of patient care, including exercises, treatments, and education.
  • Conduct patient assessments, develop treatment plans, and implement interventions to achieve patient goals.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including progress notes and treatment plans.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Current Texas license (or multistate for NLC eligible states and positions)
  • At least 2 years of recent experience as a Physical Therapy Assistant
  • Current BLS (AHA or ARC) certification
  • ACLS, PALS, NRP, etc. certification as needed per specialty
