**Job Summary**
Albany Medical Center is seeking a skilled Clinical Nurse to join our team in the Emergency Department. As a Clinical Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to a compassionate and caring environment.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Implement physician orders, administer medications, and perform treatments as required by company policy and local/state/federal rules and regulations.
- Assess and evaluate patient needs for, and responses to, care rendered.
- Apply sound nursing judgment in patient care management decisions.
- Provide primary and emergency care for occupational and non-occupational injuries and illnesses.
- Administer over-the-counter and prescription medications as ordered.
- Collaborate with the nursing team to create a Plan of Care for all patients.
- Direct and guide ancillary personnel and maintain standards of professional nursing.
**Requirements**
- Current RN licensure in the state of New York.
- 2+ years of experience in an Emergency Department setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
