Funciones y Responsabilidades del Trabajo:
  • Integridad y Seguridad del Servicio:
    • Asegurar la confidencialidad, integridad, disponibilidad, autenticidad y no repudio de los servicios, equipos y software de NOAA0700 HAES.
    • Proteger todas las redes, equipos y software contra accesos, usos, divulgaciones, interrupciones, modificaciones y destrucciones no autorizadas.
    • Implementar medidas proactivas para prevenir brechas de seguridad.
  • Monitoreo y Seguridad del Sistema:
    • Monitorear y escanear continuamente los sistemas de NOAA0700 HAES para garantizar que todas las Listas de Control de Acceso (ACL), cortafuegos de servidores y sistemas de prevención de intrusiones basados en host estén siempre funcionales.
    • Realizar auditorías regulares del sistema para evaluar factores relacionados con la seguridad.
    • Examinar posibles violaciones de seguridad para determinar si han ocurrido brechas y tomar las acciones adecuadas.
  • Reportes y Respuesta a Incidentes:
    • Reportar todas las actividades sospechosas al Equipo de Respuesta a Incidentes de Computadoras de NOAA (NCIRT) de inmediato.
    • Documentar brechas e intrusiones de manera exhaustiva.
  • Comunicación con las Partes Interesadas:
    • Interactuar con el personal y equipos de TI de NOAA, incluyendo interacciones con NOAA NWave, Ciberseguridad NCIRT, Ciberseguridad NCSC - SOC, SAS, ESS y representantes de las Oficinas de Línea y Oficinas de Programa de NOAA, para coordinar soluciones técnicas.
  • Gestión de Parches:
    • Implementar parches de emergencia de inmediato y parches críticos cada dos semanas.

Requisitos del Trabajo (Educación/Habilidades/Experiencia):
  • Experiencia Técnica:
    • Amplio conocimiento de protocolos de seguridad de red, Listas de Control de Acceso (ACL), cortafuegos de servidores y sistemas de prevención de intrusiones basados en host.
    • Competencia en la realización de auditorías de seguridad y evaluaciones de vulnerabilidad.
    • Experiencia en respuesta a incidentes y documentación de brechas de seguridad.
  • Habilidades de Comunicación:
    • Excelentes habilidades de comunicación para interactuar de manera efectiva con varios equipos y partes interesadas de TI de NOAA.
    • Capacidad para reportar y documentar claramente incidentes de seguridad y vulnerabilidades.
  • Habilidades Organizativas:
    • Capacidad para gestionar cronogramas de implementación de parches y mantener documentación de seguridad integral.
    • Sólidas habilidades organizativas para manejar múltiples tareas y cumplir con los plazos de manera efectiva.
Calificaciones:
  • Título universitario en Ciencias de la Computación, Tecnología de la Información, Ciberseguridad o un campo relacionado (preferido).
  • Certificaciones relevantes como CISSP, CISM o similares son altamente deseables.
  • Mínimo de 3-5 años de experiencia en seguridad de TI, seguridad de red o un rol relacionado.
  • Capacidad comprobada para gestionar y mitigar riesgos de seguridad en un entorno de TI complejo.
