Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced CDL Truck Driver to join our team at Rowell Chemical Corporation. As a Transportation Specialist, you will be responsible for transporting raw materials and finished goods to and from distribution centers and customer locations.

Key Responsibilities:
• Transport raw materials and finished goods in a safe and timely manner
• Inspect vehicles for mechanical issues and conduct preventive maintenance as necessary
• Use Electronic Data Log (ELD) system to document work/rest periods
• Comply with all DOT rules and regulations regarding operating a Class A vehicle with Hazmat cargo
• Safely load and unload bulk and other container quantities of hazardous materials
• Provide exceptional customer service while unloading product safely at customer use point
• Perform other miscellaneous duties as necessary or as they develop over time

Requirements:
• Valid CDL Class A with tanker and hazmat endorsements
• At least five years of verifiable CDL Class A driving experience
• Current medical examiner's certificate or ability to pass DOT physical
• Ability to obtain TWIC card (pass TWIC background check)
• High school diploma or GED equivalent required

Estimated salary: $65,000 - $80,000 per year depending on experience. This hourly position is scheduled to work 50 to 60 hours weekly depending on order patterns. Drivers are typically home daily with occasional weekend work, overtime pay after 40 hours each week, with double-time pay for Sunday work.
