About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Caregiver Assistant to join our team at Gentiva Personal Care. As a Caregiver Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our clients in their homes or places of residence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist clients with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Prepare meals and assist with grocery shopping
  • Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
  • Assist with light housekeeping and laundry
  • Run errands and assist with transportation
Requirements
  • At least 18 years of age
  • Experience in caregiving or a related field preferred
  • Physical ability to perform personal care tasks
  • Ability to read, write, understand, and carry out directions
  • Reliable transportation
  • Must not have a criminal conviction that bars employment
