Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant

Asante is seeking a full-time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Primary Care team in White City, Oregon.
The ideal candidate will operate as an established medical authority in a collaborative care team environment with physicians.
Responsibilities include preparing and recording patient's history, performing physical examinations, and formulating treatment plans for patients. The Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant will also participate in management of patient's care by facilitating, expediting and coordinating routine diagnostic procedures, writing orders for appropriate medical care, and determining needs for consultation.
Additionally, the candidate will triage patient calls and return patient calls in conjunction with the physicians.
Requirements include a graduate degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant Program, and licensure as a Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA-C) certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) and licensed by the Oregon Board of Medical Examiners (OBME). The candidate must also be eligible as a provider for Medicare, Medicaid, and other federal health programs.
