Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and serve a wide range of beverages, including cocktails, beers, and wines, to guests and servers in a friendly and efficient manner.
  • Utilize high-quality spirits, liqueurs, fruits, fresh herbs, and spices to create unique and sensational drinks for guests.
  • Greet guests, take beverage orders from servers or directly from guests, and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
  • Work closely with the culinary team to create mixers and garnishes for beverages and ensure that the assigned bar area is fully equipped with tools and products needed for mixing beverages and serving guests.
  • Provide information on wine characteristics, evaluate guests' needs, make appropriate suggestions, and serve wine using proper wine service techniques.
  • Check identification of guests to verify age requirements for the purchase of alcohol and handle cash and credit transactions accurately.
  • Maintain a thorough knowledge of food and beverage products, menus, and promotions, and demonstrate a strong understanding of Legends' service standards and guest relations.
  • Perform general cleaning tasks to adhere to health and safety standards and complete other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements:

  • At least two years of experience as a bartender in a high-volume environment.
  • Extensive knowledge of drink recipes, wine, and spirits.
  • Ability to work long hours, including mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays, and flexibility to adapt to changing schedules.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a continuous basis and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
  • Ability to read, speak, and write English fluently and effectively.
