Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and refine our tech stack, high-level architecture, and provide technical vision for the team.
  • Provide leadership to cross-functional teams tackling complex business issues with interdependencies and interrelated technology efforts.
  • Oversee long-term technology strategy for integrated systems and commerce platforms.
  • Manage and coordinate outsourced technology teams with diverse skill sets.
  • Define and drive architectural strategy to enable a world-class customer experience with quality, scalability, and resilience as default characteristics.

Requirements

  • 12+ years of experience in Information Technology and expertise in running frontend teams.
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in information systems or computer engineering is preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to understand and discuss technical concepts, prioritize, and evaluate opportunistic new ideas with internal and external partners.
  • Deep and advanced knowledge in the software development life cycle, including quality engineering, architecture, product, and program management.
  • Experience in the retail industry is a must.

Work Arrangement

This role is a hybrid position based out of our client's headquarters in San Diego.
