We are seeking a highly skilled Information Systems Analyst II to join our team at the State of Illinois. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for providing technical expertise and support for our agency's technology infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities- Provide advanced technical expertise in server administration, including development, analysis, and implementation of advanced technologies.
- Track and document setup, configuration, and implementation changes to equipment, including network devices, servers, and personal computers.
- Assist in the maintenance and administration of information technology hardware, operating systems, and local area network.
- Perform professional-level troubleshooting and system administration functions in a Windows Server environment.
- Maintain the security infrastructure by monitoring network devices, managing multi-factor authentication tools, and analyzing various security devices and technologies.
- Three years of professional experience working with server and system processes.
- Three years of professional experience diagnosing and resolving Windows computer and server problems and troubleshooting various software, hardware, and network issues.
- Knowledge, skill, and mental development equivalent to four years of college with coursework in computer science or directly related fields.
- Three years of professional experience working with Microsoft Windows Server, Microsoft Active Directory, and virtual server technologies.
- One year of professional experience administering, monitoring, and analyzing various security devices and technologies.
This is a full-time position with a regular schedule of 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. The work location is 2101 S Veterans Pkwy, Springfield, Illinois.
