We are seeking a highly skilled Certified Surgical Technologist/Obstetric Technician to join our team at the Boise Family Maternity Center. As a key member of our surgical team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and supporting our physicians and nurses during surgical procedures.
Responsibilities:- Assist with setup and preparation of surgical procedures for physicians and surgical staff under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.
- Provide support and communicate directly with surgical teams and supervisory staff.
- Room patients, set up charts, help take vitals, give baby baths, and assist with stocking.
- Function as a Unit Clerk and Certified Nursing Assistant to provide exceptional patient care.
- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) by the NBSTSA or as a Tech in Surgery-Certified (TS-C) by the NCCT required or must be licensed as an LPN in lieu of certifications.
- Basic Life Support for healthcare providers certification from either AHA, ARC, or the Military Training Network is required at hire.
