Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled OB-GYN Hospitalist Nurse Practitioner to join our team at Ascension Saint Thomas Midtown Hospital. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care and contribute to the success of our hospital.

Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive OB-GYN care to patients, including prenatal, delivery, and postpartum care.
  • Collaborate with obstetricians and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans for patients, taking into account their unique needs and circumstances.
  • Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations of patients, identifying potential health risks and developing strategies to mitigate them.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure informed decision-making and optimal patient outcomes.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Nursing required.
  • Nurse Practitioner credentialed from the Tennessee Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
  • BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
