Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Supply Chain Engineer to join our team at Swoon. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for managing and optimizing our supply chain processes to ensure seamless delivery of products to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supply Chain Management: Develop and implement effective supply chain strategies to meet business objectives, including procurement, inventory management, and logistics coordination.
  • Procurement and Sourcing: Identify and qualify new suppliers, negotiate contracts, and manage supplier relationships to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods and services.
  • Inventory Management: Develop and implement inventory management systems to optimize stock levels, reduce waste, and improve supply chain efficiency.
  • Logistics and Transportation: Coordinate and manage the movement of goods from suppliers to clients, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery.
  • Process Improvement: Analyze and improve existing supply chain processes to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance customer satisfaction.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, or a related field; an Associate degree with relevant experience may also be considered.
  • Experience: 2-4 years of experience in supply chain, purchasing, or a related field within manufacturing.
  • Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Teams, Outlook, Power BI, Excel, and PowerPoint; strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and identify trends or risks related to supplier performance.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent communication and follow-up skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage escalations effectively.
Desired Skills
  • Technical Skills: Experience with Computer-Aided Design (CAD) or other engineering-related software applications.
  • Process Knowledge: Previous experience working with control towers, supplier run rates, or similar escalation management processes.
