Storm2 is collaborating with a publicly traded FinTech organization that processes over $1 trillion monthly, partnering with major corporations like Apple, Google, Walgreens, and Amazon. They are in the process of establishing a new division dedicated to Embedded Finance solutions. The engineering leadership team is composed of professionals with backgrounds from Amazon, Lyft, Google, and Coinbase.

They are seeking a proactive engineering manager who will engage directly with their primary product.

Key Responsibilities

  • Steer technical choices through architectural, design, and code evaluations, as well as retrospective analyses.
  • Oversee a team of 5 to 15 software engineers and technical leads, eliminating barriers to enhance their efficiency and fostering their professional growth.
  • Work in conjunction with cross-functional teams (product, TPM, design, etc.) to transform concepts into reality.

Required Qualifications

  • 6+ years of individual contributor experience; 3+ years in a managerial role overseeing technical staff.
  • Demonstrated capability to lead and nurture engineers, promoting a culture of creativity and innovation.
  • Experience in providing real-time on-call support and managing the continuous operation of production services around the clock.
  • Strong preference for candidates with a background in Fintech and/or Payments.
