Position Overview

The role of the Travel Speech Language Pathologist involves delivering comprehensive diagnostic and therapeutic services to a diverse patient population, including infants, children, adolescents, adults, and seniors.

Certification Requirements
  • Mandatory licensure: Oklahoma State License or compact.
  • Certifications: BLS - AHA, NIH, ACLS - AHA preferred.
Job Responsibilities
  • Conduct a full spectrum of assessments and interventions for both inpatient and outpatient clients.
  • Address various issues including speech and language disorders, cognitive impairments, voice and fluency challenges, as well as swallowing difficulties.
  • Collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team to enhance patient care.
Qualifications
  • Must be licensed as a certified speech pathologist in Oklahoma or eligible for licensure.
  • A minimum of one year of professional experience is required.
  • Preferred experience includes working with neurogenic patients, Dysphagia, and pediatric populations.
  • Recent travel experience is highly desirable.
  • Include ACLS certification in application materials if applicable.
Work Schedule

Flexibility is essential, as the therapist may need to transition between inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation settings as necessary.

  • A flexible approach to floating between facilities is required.
  • Consideration will be given to local candidates at a reduced rate.
  • Orientation schedules vary based on discipline.
